2019 TOYOTA CAMRY: PREVIEW, PRICING, RELEASE DATE

Model Preview

After decades of blending in with the background, Toyota finally added edginess to the Camry with its 2018 redesign. With this major update still being so new and very well received, we expect the 2019 Camry to roll in as a carryover model.

As a carryover, we expect the 2019 Camry’s appearance to be virtually identical to the 2018 model’s. Last year’s redesign, while dimensionally the same as before, gave the midsize sedan a sharper look than ever before and a sleek roofline that made it nearly coupe-like.

We also expect the 2019 Camry’s insides to remain the same. Despite the distinct exterior that came with the 2018 Camry, its interior wasn’t an overwhelming departure from the norm. There was, however, one area of the redesign Camry’s interior that received a lot of attention, and that was the seating position. To avoid sacrificing headroom when creating its swoopy roofline, Toyota lowered the seat height, which some drivers griped about.

At this time, we expect the 2019 Camry’s standard features list to remain the same as the current model. If this proves true, then the 2019 Camry will come standard with 16-inch steel wheels, automatic LED headlights, cloth upholstery, keyless entry, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a six-speaker audio system, and more.
