Nigeria’s assistant coach has revealed he is looking forward to working with head coach Gernot Rohr as he is positive their time together will be successful.
Yobo was appointed as the Super Eagles assistant coach in February 2020, taking over from Imama Amapakabo. The 39-year-old is yet to resume his new position with the national team after the football activities were suspended across the globe due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic but has revealed he has been in touch with Rohr.
“We have been discussing on the phone. I have not met him personally and he does not know me personally but we have spoken to each other on the phone. We have already discussed some ideas and already have some ideas of what he wants he wants,” he said.
