Ramos art collection growing

Frost is a New York-born painter whose work is closely linked to the world of graffiti. His works have come to hang on the walls of MoMA in joint exhibitions and he has designed the covers for artists such as DJ Shadow and Sick Of It All. The website invaluable.com shows off a wide selection of what is available, including the associated prices, ranging from hundreds of euros to €40,000. So, how did Ramos get into him? Through the gallery of Javier López and Fer Francés. Under the post it read:

‘I’m very happy to share our latest acquisition for the Sergio Ramos Collection “Lineage of Continuum” by the self-taught American artist @philfrost. I am very moved by his work and personality with which I feel very identified. Frost’s paintings combine the rawness and gritty edge of the street, through its use of found materials, with the elegance of its painterly aesthetic. The diptych was displayed as the main piece for the 50th anniversary of the Nelson Rockefeller Collection at the Empire State Plaza, NY. Thank you bro Fer Francés for your honest advice. Warm hugs!!’
