Multi-talented Yoruba actress, Bukunmi Oluwashina has finally opened up on the reason she sometimes put on men’s costumes in other to look like a Tomboy. The Theater Arts graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University revealed this recently in a chat with our Publisher, GBOLAHAN ADETAYO, who asked her why she is always dressing like a man. In her response to the question, the highly intelligent actress cum songstress said, “That shit is deeper than you think. Not like I want to be a Tomboy. That’s the way I have been since I was a kid. The kind of person I am reflects in my dressing. I’m a Taurus. And aside that, I’m eccentric in nature. I may choose to dress like a guy today just because I feel that way, and tomorrow I can choose to dress like a woman to remind my friends that I’m still a lady. Just like you can see me today, all laughing with you and all over you, and tomorrow, I say “Hi” and I pass you by. A lame thinker with little understanding of human nature will start thinking otherwise “She must have heard something bad about me” “this lady is too faced” “This one have started seeing herself unto say we don play too much” whereas what is bothering me is so far from what is affecting them at that point in time. Taurus are sometimes too difficult to understand because they are confusing. Just like me, I live and dress whichever way that pleases me. I’m just like a bird. I know it might rain anytime. Today I may choose to sleep on a branch of a tree, while tomorrow I choose to sit on the wall. The place I call home is wherever I find comfortability. Today, I can dress like a boy and tomorrow like a girl. I don’t have a specific way of dressing. I just live and dress like I want. As long as it makes me feel comfortable”, she said.
