Cardi posted the whole gift-giving situation on Instagram, and she explained her birthday present to Offset, saying, “So, you know everyone’s saying you got every car, you got every jewelry, shit, you got everything. You got every shoe. What else can I give someone that got everything?”
She then says, “the fridge,” and a fridge behind him opens up, and the only thing in it is stacks and stacks of hundred dollar bills, cause why wouldn’t you keep cash in the fridge instead of, I don’t know, a bank or a gift box?
Cardi continues, saying, “That’s $500,00. $500,000.” And Offset replies, “You don’t have to give me this money!” But Cardi isn’t having that and tells him, “I know I don’t have to give you the money, but I don’t know what to give you, so I suppose I gotta give you somethin’. You could buy a car, you could buy more clothes, you could buy jewelry, you could buy me more Birkin bags. Shit, you could do whatever the hell you want…happy birthday and don’t expect no Christmas gift from me” Lol!
